Welcome to Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church located in Oakville, Missouri.
"I am the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep." (John 10:11). The love of Jesus sounds almost too good to be true, but it is true! These words from the Bible are a tremendous comfort for us. They remind us that we are not here because we are good enough or smart enough, but because we are loved completely by a compassionate God.
We desire to grow in our understanding of the love of Jesus each and every day. We also desire to live out His love toward everyone we meet. Everything we do as a church has this common purpose as we gather on Sunday mornings for worship, fellowship, and Christian Education, and during the week in small groups, which we affectionately call "growth groups." These times provide opportunities to learn and grow, to build meaningful relationships, and to serve others.
Regardless of where you are in your spiritual journey, it is our hope that you will discover plenty of opportunities to grow in your understanding of the love that is found in Jesus at Good Shepherd.
