Arnold Food Pantry -  Good Shepherd supports Arnold Food Pantry in various ways : Meal-a-month bags and hams at Christmas. The Meal-a-Month program was the brainchild of Joyce Clayton, a member of Webster Groves Presbyterian Church, sometime in 1986.

Meal-a-Month began at Good Shepherd in April 1991 as part of Mercy Ministries. Since that time, we have supported the Arnold Food Pantry with our donations of food.

Each month, a yellow Meal-a-Month bag and a sample menu for the month are provided. When filled, the bags are returned to the church. In the last week of the month the food collected is delivered to the Arnold Food Pantry for distribution.

Hand 'n Hand Pregnancy Center - is a Christian pro-life ministry located in Barnhart Missouri. The ministry serves women and families that may be facing an unplanned pregnancy. Hand 'n Hand Pregnancy Help Center was conceived in January of 1998 after a particularly moving Sanctity of Life service at Windsor Baptist Church. Shortly after that Sunday, approximately fifty people gathered together, determined to let God lead them in starting this important ministry. Ironically, nine months later, the doors to Hand 'n Hand were opened to the public. The center began operating using borrowed rooms in the church. In September of 2002, with a desire to reach more clients using a more neutral setting, Hand 'n Hand moved to a stand-alone location. God has richly blessed this move and today Hand 'n Hand is seeing more clients than ever, many with urgent needs. (more....)
