Mission to the World Missionaries to South Asia

David and Eleanor

David was born in South Asia to missionary parents. Eleanor grew up in Pennsylvania and attended Covenant College, where she and David met. They were married in 1961, and three years later went to the Children's Home, a leprosy-related institution in South Asia, with their nine-month old daughter, Karen. Their sons, Philip and Alan, were both born there.

David was manager of the Home until 1973, then developed a school for those children. In 1985 they transferred to a Seminary, where for two years he served as principal (president) and as teacher.

In 1989 David was asked by a national board to develop fiols.jpga new school as its first principal. The primary focus of the school is to provide top quality education from a biblical perspective to the children of full time national Christian workers in South Asia. David turned over leadership of the school to a national principal in 2000. David and Eleanor have also been involved with the development of a local church. In addition to various teaching and other projects for the seminary, church, and school, exciting new opportunities lie ahead.
