Mission to the World Missionaries to South Asia
Phil and Amina
Phil was born and raised in South Asia, where his parents, David & Eleanor, serve as missionaries. He graduated from Covenant College on Lookout Mountain, GA, where he earned a BA in sociology. Having sensed a call to full time ministry first during high school, he joined a church-planting team in Brisbane, Australia in 1989, where he helped establish a university outreach and led the worship and youth ministry of a new church plant.
During his time there he felt called to pursue seminary training for pastoral ministry. In 1992 he returned to the U. S. to attend Seminary in St. Louis where he received an M.Div degree and graduated in 1996. While studying at the seminary Phil served as youth, music, and missions director here at GSPC and was then called there as Associate Pastor where he served until he felt a burden to meet the vast need for training church leaders in South Asia. Phil left in October 2002 where he has been serving as a teacher of homiletics at a Seminary, as well as coordinating various relief and mercy ministries. Amina joined Phil as his wife and ministry partner in September 2003.
